Le participe présent
1. Công thức và đặc điểm:
o được hình thành từ gốc của ngôi thứ nhất số nhiều ở indicatif.
• Nous jouons => jouant, nous disons => disant, nous agissons => agissant
o Một vài participe présent bất quy tắc:
• Être => étant, avoir => ayant, savoir => sachant
o Có dạng hình thức phức hợp (ayant hay étant + participe présent) chỉ sự việc xảy ra trước:
• Les personnes ayant déjà acheté leurs billets peuvent se présenter au contrôle.
• Les marchandises n’étant pas arrivées, on ne pourra pas vous les livrer.
o được sử dụng nhất là trong văn viết như báo chí, thư từ và ngôn ngữ hành chính:
• Cherchons vendeuse parlant l’anglais.
• N’ayant pas reçu à cette date de confirmation, nous annulons notre réservation.
2. Cách dùng:
o có thể thay thế mệnh đề quan hệ “qui”:
• C’est un sportif qui a des qualités techniques rares. => C’est un sportif ayant des qualités techniques rares.
o Có thể diễn đạt nguyên nhân, có thể thay thế trong trường hợp “comme”, “étant donné que”:
• Comme la pluie tombait très fort, nous avons dû rentrer.
La pluie tombant très fort, nous avons dû rentrer.
• Étant donné qu’elle a vécu en Asie, elle situe souvent ses romans dans cette région.
Ayant vécu en Asie, elle situe souvent ses romans dans cette région.
